Briana
Briana was another one of those pleasurable shoots. You mix together a pretty young lady with a photogenic face, an easygoing personality, throw in the last week of fall's magnificent color and stir it all up and what do you get; a successful part-one to a two-part Senior Photo Session. She wanted a more traditional style shoot with a litle fun thrown in so this was the traditional part. A lot of rules were broken on purpose in composition and direction in many of these shots for effect, and I believe they worked. We are planning a little less nature and a little more retro in the next segment, and I am sure it will be just as productive.

I really like these. My favorite pose, in many photographs, is the half-facial portrait. Its a classic.
ReplyDeleteThanks. There are lot more, but room does come into play.
ReplyDeleteSome awesome shots! I really like those...
ReplyDeleteI wonder, whether you use Adobe Lightroom 2 also? I found out, it's really handy for RAW-pictures... and works wonders! :-D
Yes, Lightroom 2.1 is my current RAW processor; I have found it indispensable. I of course use Photoshop as well, as RAW 4.6 is identical in both programs, but Lightroom is easier and quicker if you can stay there by not needing any advanced editing of the image; like removal of unwanted portions of a shot like a power-line or something.
ReplyDeletebeautiful too. she's really photogenic.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Yes, she was an easy shoot; she is very pretty and works well with a camera stuck in her face. Some people it takes a while to get them comfortable but she was a real pro from the start.
